What is Homeopathy?

Homeopathy is a healing discipline that stimulates the body to heal itself. It is a system of alternative medicine that was developed in the late 18th century by a German physician named Samuel Hahnemann. It is based on the principle of “like cures like,” which means that a substance that causes symptoms in a healthy person can be used to treat similar symptoms in a sick person. Homeopathic remedies are used to treat a wide range of acute and chronic conditions. Treatment is individualised, with remedies prescribed based on a person’s specific symptoms or constitutional type.

About Me

My journey began when I was treated with homeopathic and natural medicines growing up, with great success, and this sparked my interest and love for natural medicines.

I started my health journey by studying at the Institute of Natural Health, focussing on therapeutics such as phytotherapy, deep tissue and sports massage, lymphatic drainage, detox, and supportive alternative medical techniques in reiki, iridology, and nutrition. This keen interest in alternative medicine, and understanding the “whole person”, culminated in a 7-year journey of academia at the University of Johannesburg, to achieve my dream as a homeopathic practitioner.

I am a registered and practicing homeopathic doctor (practitioner number: A12 465), constantly inspired by the therapeutic abilities of homeopathic and natural medicines that promote healing and wellness. I offer homeopathic and complementary treatment plans for those seeking alternative approaches to their health and well-being.
